On Friday, May 15, 2026, the Tina Touadéra Foundation welcomed a delegation from Nexora, a Canada-based company, for a meeting focused on healthcare cooperation and strengthening support for communities across the Central African Republic.

During the meeting, representatives of the Foundation presented several health initiatives led by the First Lady, including efforts to fight breast cancer, cervical cancer, and prostate cancer. The First Lady also shared her vision to establish a specialized medical center dedicated to the treatment of these diseases, which affect many families throughout the country.

The Nexora delegation was also introduced to ongoing projects, including the construction of the Léa Village Hospital in Damara. This facility is designed to support women’s healthcare and help reduce maternal and infant mortality.

The discussions also highlighted the Foundation’s mobile clinic concept, which aims to bring healthcare services closer to underserved communities.

Nexora expressed its willingness to support the Foundation in key areas, including reducing maternal and infant mortality, improving access to vaccines, and supporting the training of doctors, nurses, and healthcare personnel.

The delegation emphasized that stronger healthcare systems not only improve quality of life but also contribute to economic development and a more productive society.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Labor, Annie-Michelle Mouanga, reflecting the importance placed by Central African authorities on public health and international cooperation.
